A New Year A New Post

A day after the storming of the Capitol Building in Washington DC.

Republicans resigning their posts to avoid impeaching Donald Trump.

What happened Americans have you had it too good too long

and becoming complacent about your rights and freedom?

You had it all and now just throwing it all away.

Christmas is over for another year and for the first time in many years will not be going into the city, Sydney, for the Boxing Day sales.

This year we decided to have our Christmas lunch at our local bowling club. We haven't had any COVID cases  for quite some time but we're still practising social distance and we had helpers servicing the buffet.

I loved it. No mess to cleanup afterwards but my youngest son wants to go back to doing the lunch himself  at home.  I'm pretty sure he uses every pot and pan in the cupboards.

I once owned a Chrysler Valiant 3.85L auto. I and kids were waiting at a red light stop when a Ford Escort pulled up beside us, saw my kids and started to rev their engine, green light and I floored it ... I could hear the other car going thru its gears ... kids screaming with laughter ... we waited for them at the next red light. It was a dream to drive like sitting in an armchair the seats were so comfy.
