Exhibition Hall at Darling Harbour, Sydney

where the Australia's No.1 - Craft and Quilting Fair was
held this week. I was so overwhelmed by the huge
collection of entries that I forgot to take photos,
it was a quilty-crafty person's heaven.


No sure why this big red wheel is located at DH,
a new amusement for the kiddies ... maybe.

After the Fair I rushed up to Central Station to meet

my eldest son,we wandered off to Chinatown for a meal,
then I headed back to Central Station to catch
the train up the coast and home.

There was trackwork further north so the timetables
were 'shitty',I had to wait 45 minutes before
the train left to take me home.
A long day.

First day of two weeks holidays ...Today- Saturday,
I have already washed the new car,

(My new car - Hyundai Getz 2009 - a lovely drive.)

mowed the back yard,
started to demolish a old cubby house,
washed my bedroom curtains and sheets,
moved a dressing table out of son's room and into
the spare room and started to strip it back to stain/paint,
stopped for lunch ...whew...

at this rate I will have renovated the whole house
by the time I get back to work. lol

The dressing table is for my room...
can't decide whether to re-stain it
or paint white to match side tables in room
... decisions, decisions.

The beaches up along the east coast of Australia have been closed because of bad weather -flooding, strong winds and huge swells which have made bad surfing conditions ... so our intrepid surfers have sought protected areas of the coast in which to exercise their pent up energy.
